Two Indian Air Force pilots lost their lives after a twin-seater Jaguar fighter jet crashed near Bhanoda village in Rajasthan’s Churu district at around 1:25 PM on Wednesday. The aircraft was on a routine training mission when the incident occurred.
Fortunately, there was no damage to any civilian property in the area. The Indian Air Force has ordered a Court of Inquiry to determine the cause of the crash. In an official statement, the Air Force expressed deep sorrow over the loss and said it stands "firmly with the bereaved families in this time of grief."
This marks the third crash involving a Jaguar fighter jet this year. The previous incidents took place in Panchkula, Haryana on March 7, and near Jamnagar in Gujarat on April 2.
